30-Day challenge: do interrupted 17 minute workouts count?

According to the terms of challenge starting tomorrow workouts that are counted have to be 17 minutes in length, seemingly uninterrupted.

If I were to do 15 minutes of cycling, and later in the day 15 more minutes, would that count for the challenge?

You have to spent in total 17 minutes - how ever - in order to β€œgain” the daily streak. So no, these minutes must not be done unbroken.
