Before starting Freeletics tomorrow I have been training 7 days a week alternating short high intensity running and bodyweight strength circuit days. I haven’t been doing what I’m doing now that long, before that I trained for a marathon. My fitness has gone up a lot with all the high intensity runs. I’m overweight, and losing weight. I chose to go with Explosive Strength from the coach recommendation. The thing is I’d like at least 1 run a week, preferably 2 or 3 and I can’t work out what to do with Freeletics to account for this. I want strength to be my main focus but I don’t want to lose my cardiovascular fitness either. Is it best to just tell Freeletics I work out 4 days a week and then throw 2 or 3 high intensity runs or intervals in it doesn’t know about or is there a better way to handle this?
