Intrusive ads (advertisements)

During today’s warm-up, when I had to do the second exercise, a pop-up ad appeared in the Freeletics app. During a warm-up with a countdown! What’s more, it was an ad to buy another product.

When I finished the warm-up, another pop-up ad appeared.
I exited the app and re-entered, and another ad appeared.
I’m in the app, another ad.

So apparently now we pay a subscription fee to have invasive ads appear during a workout.

Hi! Totally agree with you! Ads are very annoying and we are paying for this subscription! It is insane I am feel that I will cancel my subscription if no one answers

I have to say I also got a popup with a wall of text mid-workout. In my case, it was a product update announcement.

It is not the best moment to read a wall of text when I am in the middle of burpees
