Version 26.37.0 issues

Device details:

  • Device: Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

  • OS: One UI 8.5 (Android)

  • Freeletics App Version: 26.37.0

Issue Description: The Freeletics app is currently unusable because it automatically forces open my device’s native Contacts/Phone app. Specifically, this redirect occurs consistently right as the app finishes loading content on the screen.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch the Freeletics app.

  2. Wait for the initial screen/view to complete its network/data load.

  3. The app automatically triggers an intent and switches focus to the native Contacts app.

  4. Switching back to Freeletics results in the same behavior.

Observed Behavior: The native Contacts app opens automatically immediately after the active screen in Freeletics finishes loading its elements.

Expected Behavior: The Freeletics app should complete its loading sequence and remain in the foreground for normal user interaction without triggering third-party intents.

Troubleshooting already attempted:

  • Checked app permissions (Contacts permission is [Allowed / Denied]

  • Cleared cache

  • Deleted all data stored in the app

  • Reinstalled the app
