🍂 Autumn Consistency Challenge in collaboration with Garmin!

Hey Sylvain,

thanks for your effort in making freeletics better and better and also be open for customers opinion.

19 Weeks ago you‘ve made a post in the app about the integration with apple watch and asked what wishes are there for more integrations - well this question was removed afterwords, but, from 300 comments on that post approxamatly 70% are telling you that we need that garmin integration. So i am curious why you still don‘t have it on the roadmap or even planned to implement that?Is it based on technical issues, or any other concerns?

Looking forward to hear from you!

Before “Daily Base,” my DAS was around 90-94 with a consistency of about 98-100. It wasn’t due to a “DAS effect” — I had been consistently using the Freeletics app for 6-7 years, typically doing 5 sessions per week. It was driven by a natural need to progress and improve my fitness abilities.

I’ve shared my thoughts about DAS a few times on the forum (
), but when Daily Base came out, my motivation dropped dramatically. I was so disappointed that I stopped logging my workouts in the app altogether. I couldn’t accept the direction Freeletics was taking with one update after another. My consistency plummeted to 33, and my DAS fell to around 55. I didn’t care anymore. I’m not going to engage with a fitness app the way I would with TikTok or AliExpress. I’m not opening the app just to “make a tree grow,” OK?

If Freeletics Coach sessions are compromised by DAS Daily Base, I’ll stop using the app immediately.

By the way, Apple Watch’s “closing rings” concept is very similar to DAS. I believe most Freeletics users will chuckle at that — we’re here for something deeper.

Keep up the great work on creating the best fitness app for people who genuinely love sports. There’s so much potential to enhance your already fantastic coaching algorithms. We need more exercises, more journeys, more variety in sports, and better goal personalization. Instead, it feels like you’re focusing on superficial features that may look good but don’t actually deliver.

Even in professional labs, with equipment costing hundreds of thousands of euros, accurately measuring someone’s fitness level is challenging. And you’re trying to achieve that by asking: Did you take a walk with your dog today? Or ride a bike for 17 minutes? And maybe track it on your Garmin? If you did, your DAS will increase.

Lovely.
