It’s a great challenge and I’m in, I would like the prices to be shippable within EU and as a second option to one of the countries although you are not a resident (I have for example two apartments in Spain). Other than that really great

Never been a runner but just signed up for Spartan this autumn… suddenly that treadmill’s looking like a must to survive, not just a nice-to-have  I’m in!

Good luck @Sofia ! I just signed up for my first Tough Mudder in September as well!

It s a minimum efort/ cost to deliver anywhere in the world. You have thousands of athletes anywhere in the world. :-1:t3:

We would like to make these prizes available to more people. However, due to the heavy weight and volume of the packages (requiring a specialized carrier), as well as the high import taxes that would apply for shipments outside eligible European countries, the list of shipping destinations is unfortunately limited. We’re sorry if you don’t live in one of these countries. We’re sorry if we cannot ship to your country
Don’t forget that the heart of this challenge is above all your participation, the reward of training and the feeling of accomplishment! So we invite you to join us and enjoy the collective energy and motivation. :flexed_biceps:

But i’m not sorry for living in other country  i’m sorry because even if you’re a worldwide fitness app, with users from Brazilia :brazil: to Egypt or Africa, your campaign it’s only for few countries. It’s kind of disrespectful campaigning or just your marketing department didn’t to their best. And no, it s not about prizes (the payments for ex are accepted for everywhere )..the prize can also be small Medals, a badger or a postcard ..easy to send…

@sylvain I understand outside of EU but in the open market of EU you are not hit by additional taxes as far as I know and as stated people would probably pay the additional shipping

What I don’t understand is that this challenge is in partnership with Decathlon.
Decathlon has 2,082 stores in 79 countries.
How can this be a shipping problem then?

Hello all,
I first need to say that I love challenges. The last one was the main reason I started exercising regularly again, and the badge I earned was really important for me. Congrats for making this kind of motivation game. It really works for me.
I am in to the last one too - the move more challenge. I need that badge, once again!
But I noticed something disturbing about the prizes. I personally do not care about them, but I think that the way you handle the prizes is really wrong. You advertise freeletics as a international group of athletes and you ship your prizes only in 7 countries ? How can that be? Moreover, you have wrote in the terms that anyone who wins a prize from any other country besides the 7 must deny the prize.
I can imagine that you have many things to consider (for example shipping cost) but there are many ways to solve this without being unfair with the people. If you are (or want to be) an international app, you must act like one.
Once again, I personally do not care about them. I’m from Greece, so excluding my country would be reasonable as it’s really far away. But what about all the others nearest to Germany?

thank you for your time,
George

There were many complaints about this on the last big challenge too.

What bugs me this time is that this challenge is in partnership with Decathlon, and Decathlon has 2,082 stores in 79 countries and prizes are shipped to 7 countries only.

I’m all in with Andrei opinion. If you really believe it’s all about participation (which I believe too), prove it by your actions. I love Freeletics, but I do not like the feeling of a lobby.
Moreover, change the way you advertise it. It’s misleading and disrespectful for my way of thinking.

Really a pity that the three prizes are only shipped to such few countries. As other wrote too, Decathlon has a huge presence in other countries too…
