In case you missed it, we’ve been rolling out a ton of new exercises, plus 14 brand new equipment options! Our goal is to give you more variety and help you get the most out of your Freeletics workouts.
Along with launching these new exercises, we’ve been working hard to integrate them into your Freeletics Coach, so you receive these as Coach-assigned workouts. And great news: the Suspension Trainer and Weighted Vest exercises are now part of the Ultimate Strength Training Journey!
What’s new in the Ultimate Strength Training Journey? Note: You need to be in the Ultimate Strength Training Journey to get these assigned.
26 new Coach-assigned Weighted Vest exercises
21 new Coach-assigned Suspension Trainer exercises
How do the Weighted Vest workouts work?
If an interval includes both Weighted Vest and non-Weighted Vest exercises, all Weighted Vest movements will be grouped at the start of the interval.
Expect longer rests between intervals to give you time to put the vest on.
The vest stays on during the entire Weighted Vest block, minimizing vest switching within an interval.
All Weighted Vest exercises in an interval use the same weight assignment.
You can find the full list of new exercises in the app by filtering by equipment. To get these new workouts added to your Coach-assigned sessions, make sure you’ve selected the Weighted Vest and Suspension Trainer in the settings menu on your Coach tab.
If you’ve tried any of the new workouts, we’d love to hear your feedback! Let us know if you run into any issues, as we’re always working to make your training experience better. And stay tuned, there’s even more coming soon!
Hi, it’s great to see. For the intervals that include both weighted vest and non-weighted vest, I usually keep the weighted vest anyway. It would be interesting to see a “I did it with weighted vest option” for each non-weighted vest.
I find it actually really annoying to have to change the weight vest in the same interval. I either keep it on or adapt the workout elements to remove the vest, which isn’t really the point. I’ve been working with a heavy 10kg vest which is challenging to put on and take off so I’m considering ordering a smaller one, but it’s slightly annoying to have to spend more money for convenience. Can you give us the option of doing all these interval exercises with the weighted vest on and then a new interval with the ones without?
I need a full resistance bands programs, not only individual workout. For example, 12 week program, like with weights. Can i expect something like that in the future?
Thanks in advance for your help, greetings from Serbia. Dragan.
