"Update your app to train" loop

I’ve recently changed my phone from iPhone SE 2020 to iPhone 6E. When I launch the app and click on the Workout to get the details, I get the prompt: “Update your app to train - To do this type of workout, please update your app through your app store”. When I go to the store, it tells me that there are no updates and it looks like I can actually do the training.

**Before reporting a potential bug, please first try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. **

  • I have not done this because when I try to uninstall, it tells me that my data will be deleted as well and I’m in the middle of a journey.

Are you absolutely sure you have changed to an iPhone 6E?

I don’t think you can be on an iPhone 6 and be on an iOS version any later than 15.

If it’s a mistake, can you try deleting the app completely from your device and redownloading it from your App Store?

:clapclapstatic:

@Ben Sorry, that should have been iPhone 16E. When I try to remove the app, it mentions that my data will be deleted as well. Does that mean that all of my data like previous and current journeys will be gone? Thank you for helping me out!

@tmhy4rv74j Your training data is not stored at your mobile. So deleting will just clean the caches like already loaded how-to-videos, feed entries or app data. But not your training data.

No worries :+1:

Yeah, as Mela said, uninstalling the app doesn’t delete your training history - this is stored on our servers, not on your device :+1:
