Bodyweight and weighted vest

Hello everyone,

hope your training is going well and that you’ve started the Ultimate Strength training.
I need an opinion from you.

I love to work on Handstand Pushups, Muscleups, Windshield Wipers, Pistols and so on… (bodyweight exercises). However, lower body exercises really are too easy (or too long to perform, due to the high reps range). That’s when I tell the coach to add the weights (plate and dumbbells). But here’s the problem: by adding weights to increase lower body difficulty, I don’t get all the bodyweight exercises I previously mentioned.

My solution is to keep the coach settings on bodyweight mode and use the weighted vest when I’d like to. I do not prefer this solution because I would like to have the coach learn my training level, but I can’t see another solution right now.

Furthermore, after buying the weighted vest (since most of them have a maximum weight of 20kg), how can I increase the weight in the future (let’s say, for squats or lunges)?

Hi Matteo,

Good points. I’ve put in a request to have a toggle to select a weight vest/plate carrier option for all workouts, coach and God workouts, so tracking can be distinguished between weighted and unweighted training.

I hope it’s considered.
