Yesterday in my DB gain workout when I finished the interval I noticed the coach had planned slightly different exercise intensity for each side of my body. The program has been out a long time now so I assume this isn’t a glitch but what is the reason for it?
It was my first time on DB gain and my first lower body session so I can’t imagine I have given any feedback to suggest one side is weaker than the other. The only lower body exercise I had done previous to this was DB squat.
Hey, the coach didn’t plan differently (it gave you 10 reps with each 6 kg) it just expects you to find the left and right side differently difficult as for most people the right side tends to be stronger than the left.
Hi, OK, it didn’t do that for upper strange which is where you’d expect those issues to be more pronounced due to handedness but I have seen other people report it happening on upper body. Do you know if coach is expecting those issues to even out over time?
No it will still continue to expect that. But it should expect that from the upper body as well 
But it won’t change the weight it recommends you. You’ll still train both sides evenly so no big deal
