Feature Suggestions from a Long-Term User

Hi Freeletics Team,

I’ve been using the app for over 4 years (consistently for the past 2), and I really value the coaching structure. I’d love to suggest a few improvements to enhance personalization:

  1. Keep Weightlifting When Adjusting Sessions
    When I reduce workout time or exclude a body part, the session often becomes bodyweight-only. I’d love the option to keep barbell/dumbbell exercises included, just in a shorter or adjusted format, not a completely different training style.
  2. Exercise Alternatives + Weight Tracking per Exercise
    It would be great to swap exercises while targeting the same muscle group (e.g., choosing Bulgarian split squats instead of back squats). Also, keeping tracked weight specific to each exercise would help maintain progressive overload and consistency.
  3. Better Continuity When Starting a New Journey
    When beginning a new journey, I’d prefer if the app remembered my previous preferences, experience level, disliked exercises, preferred equipment, and my weight records per exercise. This would make transitions smoother and preserve training progress.
