My issue is the Coach keeps giving a “beat your PB” session that’s too hard. There is advice already on this forum to skip exercises until the session is considered done, then tell the coach that it was too hard. However, in the case of a PB workout, it will still record an unrealistically low personal best. How to make Coach ignore this PB time while also giving it feedback that the session was too hard?
How to tell coach I could not complete a god workout & to ignore the unrealistic personal best time?
In this case, I do an alternative exercise targeting same muscles as the one I can’t do. After finishing, I give proper feedback that I replaced an exercise. As the workout is not logged with star, it’s absolutely normal that a PB is absolutely useless and nonsense. why? As long as it isn’t “star worthy”, you could have done e.g. just Jumping Jacks instead of all exercises and you do not have any comparison whether you improved or not. Do you know what I mean?
For workouts I do " not star worthy", it helps me to completely let go of thoughts about a PB and focus exclusively towards the technique.
