To track or not to track commutes?

During this month’s challenge (the 30-Day Challenge) I’ve tracked my bicycle commutes to and from my workplace on days I knew I wouldn’t be able to fit in a workout or regeneration or mobility training.

With that in mind, I wondered whether or not I should track those commutes, regardless of whether I am still going to work out that day? Is it beneficial? Does the coach prefer knowing that info? Does the coach even take it into account?

I thought Coach only considered Coach-assigned workouts, and those extra activities were only considered for DAS and for the Base activity

Agree with Sofia, if you want these commutes reflected in your DAS and are interested in it reflecting the most “realistic” score, you could continue to track them. If you don’t use the DAS, it’s probably not worth the effort. I have never seen an upcoming workout change after I put in that additional info e.g. my rowing workouts.

I still wanted all my fitness “efforts” to be tracked (also inside the FL app) and thus got a smartwatch that automatically recognizes my workouts and syncs them into FL. That’s my “lazy” solution
