I’m considering buying an adjustable kettlebell and would love some real-world feedback from Freeletics users.
From what I’ve seen there are mainly:
- Dial/selectorized kettlebells (super fast weight changes, but bulkier/mechanism)
- Competition-style adjustable kettlebells (internal plates, best weight distribution/feel, but slower to adjust) (ChatGPT recommendadtion
)
I’m currently doing the Freeletics Ultimate Strength Journey and I’m wondering:

How often do you need to change kettlebell weight within one Freeletics workout/session? Do you adjust weight frequently enough that a dial system is actually worth it?

Which weight range and is one Kettlebell enough or are two recommended? I already have two fast-dialtype-adjustable dumbbells up to 20 kg, which I love, but also maxed out earlier than I expected. So the kettlebell(s) would be an additional tool.
Especially in Ultimate Strength Journey but I’d also be interested in other “pure” Kettlebell journey.
Any feedback on durability and how “natural” the kettlebell feels would also be appreciated.
