Adjusting Skill progressions

I can’t do pull ups but my coach is trying to get me to do workouts containing them, doing reps up to 25. Coach hasn’t even had me practice them. Any way to regress back to learning the pull up movement?

I would put it in the skill progression and during the sessions give the appropriate and honest feedback so that the coach will give you less of these hard exercises

So I gave very honest feedback today that my technique was poor and it was very hard but next week I have pull ups again. Will the coach eventually take me back to the regression of that exercises? I would expect it to happen instantly if I found it hard and the technique was poor.
