Here’s an idea for a feature that could improve the user experience.
It could be beneficial to have a timer that starts automatically when a user begins a workout and stops when they complete it, please see attached.
This would allow users to:
-
Compare their performance: See how their time compares to the estimated completion range for each workout.
-
Help improve accuracy: Provide data that allows the app to refine the estimated completion ranges over time.
I really don’t understand this request. You can’t do a benchmark workout without timer (unless you track it manually).
Hi sorry for confusion!
Each individual workout (warm-up, interval, etc) displays an estimated time for completion. In this screenshot, it is 33-42 min.
It would be great to see the actual amount of time that it took me to complete the workout for personal info.
Of course I could also set a timer on my phone to track this, however an additional benefit would be the following: This data could then be sent to Freeletics and potentially increase or reduce the range of estimated completion times based on that data.
Hope that helps?
Thanks!
Ok, I understand your request and the app already has this implemented.
After finishing your coach day, you can tap on the summary tile for seeing the listed details of your coach day with total amount of time you needed for your warm up, interval or cooldown.
As far as I know, the estimated time isn’t based of athletes own history. It seems to be more a kind of average of all athletes. I also think this should be more precise (e.g. based on their own past executions of exercises when there is enough data to do this) for those who can’t estimate their own time through experience.
In case anyone wonders what I mean with experience: I personally can more or less exactly estimate the time I need for a planned coach day (taking into account the form if that day) - but I do Freeletics for almost eleven years.
