Coach reaction to my feedback

Hi, I am just wondering what the coach logic is and if it might fail in my case. Anyway, currently I am in my 3rd journey (dumbell, kettlebell and now again dumbell). What’s surprising me is that despite I give feedback 3 or 4 reps more, increasing weights on sessions, it looks like the feedback is ignored. The coach simply uses the load and reps as usual. Interesting.

Heya :wave:t2:

I can’t see this happening in your training.

F.i. yesterday I modified weights to 12 and 5kg. Today again 10 and 4kg. :man_shrugging: I can modify manually but I guess Coach could do it. And again I expected Coach will increase weights based on the end of tge session’s feedback but it did not happen. Therefore I started to modify weights in the training session manually. Honestly, do not know which feedback is more relevant for the Coach. Either one at the end of the session or one in the session.

I’ll send you a DM :+1:t2:

Thanks to Ben for the fruitful discussion.

My lessons learnt:

  1. feedback “Right on the edge. Could barely complete the reps.” is information for the Coach that the training was too heavy. My understanding was the load is demanding but doable so that it is okay (not hard).

  2. it is better not to modify weights and reps in the training and it is better to provide feedback at the end of the training session

  3. It is better to delete unwanted equipment to prevent coach from using it

  4. feedback “1-2 reps more,” “3-4 reps more” or "5 and more " will make coach to increase weights. So my previous observation was incorrect. Apologies for that.
