Freeletics and Ankylosing Spondylitis

Are there any members with Ankylosing Spondylitis or similar diseases that are successfully using the Freeletics program to improve mobility and quality of life?

If so, can you advise how to get started, what program is best to start with and generally just any advice you can offer to someone trying to dig himself out of a hole after a few years of disease and regression?

Hey @tonyneil :wave:t2: A big welcome!

If you suffer from Ankylosing Spondylitis it’s going to be absolutely crucial that you consult your Doctor or Rheumatologist. As you know, this is an arthritis that primarily affects the spine and is going to cause you stiffness, pain, and limited mobility.

Depending on how severe your symptoms are, it may well be the case that the type of HIIT offered by Freeletics is just not suitable or safe for you.

It really is worth talking to them though :+1:t2: They might have suggestions for you on how you can adapt your Freeletics training or even more suitable training for you to do to keep active and healthy :muscle:t2:
