Garmin already offers a (limited) number of animated workouts. Does anyone know if it is possible to create custom workouts like these and share them?
Hello,
I started following my freelitics workouts seriously and would really love it if I could translate them accurately to my Garmin watch.
So far I’m exporting to Apple health then to Garmin but it does not translate that well, especially the weight and type of exercise, heart rate etc.
Is there a better way to do this? Is there any news on an integration with garmin connect?
Thanks
I just thougt about getting back to Freeletics but now I see it is still not working with garmin watches… That was already a topic many years ago and I am shocked that still nothing happend. Is there at least a plan when it will be implemented. If I already wear a garmin watch it generates valuable information for an ai coach to improve my training and i can use it to navigte through the training…
Hello Thomas,
There is no direct Garmin integration planned in the future. However, some trainings can be taken into account toward your consistency metric in the app. You can find more information here: New Feature - Strava integration
It is no big deal, look at Spotify, where you can control the music functions, skip to the next song, control volume, etc.
Hello Sylwain, would you be so kind and share with us the reason behind your message:“There is no direct Garmin integration planned in the future”
There is a big demand among Freeletics subscribers for Garmin integration, and the only party that is against such integration is Freeletics. Why ?
Why Freeletics does not care about its users needs?
Strange.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your thoughts regarding a Garmin integration.
There are several factors that influence our decisions regarding new features. When you mention the significant demand for Garmin integration within the Freeletics subscriber community, it’s important to consider this in the context of all the feedback and requests we receive for app improvements through various channels like TestFlight, beta testers, ambassadors, and the wider , from the community.
Asking if we don’t care about our users’ needs is an oversimplification and it’s actually quite the opposite. Many recent enhancements to the app have been directly driven by the feedback we’ve received. To give more context, the development roadmap for the app is planned Months, if not a year in advance. This includes not only the implementation of new features but also essential app maintenance, bug fixes, and various other visible and not visible aspects that contribute to a smooth user experience. Introducing a new integration like Garmin is unfortunately not a straightforward process that can be implemented instantly. And it is the same for most of the request we receive. But be assured that every piece of feedback we receive regarding this feature, whether through our forum, customer support tickets, or app store reviews, is carefully quantified to help us prioritize future improvements that may eventually be implemented in the app. As of now, this specific integration is not part of our immediate development plans. I understand this is not the answer you were hoping for, but this reflects the logical process through which Freeletics development operates.
