Training location is definitely a big one for me. Now when it’s pouring outside but I have all equipment except for a pull up bar, I have to either go the “No equipment” route or manually edit my equipment.

This is great, love to see the part where you mention the training will adjust for where you are and what equipment you have in your current location.

If you can add the GPS location to define what equipment you have or what kind of working you going to do will be Super, I can go to a park closed to my house and I have some pull-up bars but other park have a great place to do a run and not having any equipment.

Training location is the one that should be on priority

Estarei a disposição sempre.

A post was split to a new topic: Zahlungsoptionen

Hello everyone, these are great news.

I’m currently doing the “Muscle Building with the Barbell” journey, and I miss having exercises like push-ups or dips in addition to pull-ups, but that’s just a side note.

For the update, I would love if it were possible to add exercises with kettlebells or dumbbells as well as movements like push-ups on training days, with the option for the coach to adjust the intensity as needed.

Additionally, it would be fantastic to have the ability to swap exercises for alternatives when needed. For example, swapping barbell bench presses for dumbbell bench presses, to add a bit more variation.

On the topic of workout types… I think it would be amazing if workout types like AMRAP could be added.

This is great and exciting. I want to be able to adapt my workouts to my setup. At home, I only ever have one pair of adjustable dumbbells, so any workout sequence that requires two different weights requires me to constantly change my one pair of dumbbells.

Also, please fix the apple watch app. It makes no sense at all to have the app if it doesn’t accurately track my active calories. If other apps can do it, y’all can make it work too. The app is pointless if tracking isn’t accurate. The remote control functionality is nice but it doesn’t make up for the calorie tracking inaccuracies.

Hi,

Just requested to join the Reserach program and looking forward to the discussions.

I am not sure if this is the right thread so I will briefly give feedback to the planned features:

Flexible Training Plans => Sounds reasonable, I would like to see an option to have multiple plans active, like having a regular coach plan plus work on some skill plus improve flexibility. pliability/ROMWOD use the concept of paths for that, there can be multiple paths active.

Customizable Training Locations => Not a big issue for me personally. I do train at home and when I go running/cycling I use other apps for that.

Improved Workout Guidance => Makes sense.

Increased Variety => I think the variety of available exercises is already quite high, I would love to see a flexibility journey for overall flexibility or with targeted skills like pancacke or split. This should be possible as a parallel path like mentioned before.

And last but not least: Please restructure the UI. The Coach Tab is so overloaded that it is difficult to find anything. I would recommend to have a coach tab solely for the active journey(s) and a spearate tab for all the stuff I acn do on my on. I would also like to have favorites there for specific exercises, so for example “50 Pushups” or a specifiy God workout.

Thats it for now

  • I would like to be able to include snatches, clean and jerk and it’s variations/drills. I know it is an advanced movement, but some os us are up to it. I think it would greatly benefit journeys that include barbells. There could even be an weightlifting focused journey (especially for power and strength)
  • Sometimes I don’t have some equipments available (but have others). I would like to be able to remove just some equipment for an specific session.
  • It would be nice to have a flexibility journey that runs in parallel with the regular journey.
  • I’m just starting a Hybrid Strength journey and I don’t know how it behaves, but if someday I remove all equipment I hope that the next one will adapt and include the equipments.
  • Please add Garmin Connect advanced integration. With exercises, lap, etc. A Garmin app would be awesome.

Great to see, that you keep improving the App!

A few things from my end:

Equipment is indeed a big topic → at the moment, I can not manually adjust much. It would be great if you can predefine locations (such as “gym”, where we expect everything to be available and “home”, where I can manually set, what I have) .
As a result, if I am in a training plan, depending on my current location, the exercises would really consider what I have available, rather than just completely changing from a heavy barbell exercise to an exercise with no equipment at all.
It would also be great, if you can mix barbell, dumbbell and kettlebell workouts.

Regarding the self-made exercises, I realized that so far the points for the exercises didn’t make too much sense. Would also be nice, if they could be normed a bit better. Even though that’s not super important.

I also realized, that I am not offered all possible workouts, because I personally seem to have some bugs when selecting equipment and there is an issue to unlock new exercises depending on skill level. Not sure if others also have issues with that.

Hi Ben,

Thank you for the email, how much does it cost me to sign up for this research program?

Thank you.
Stephane

Landscape mode for the app, please. This is particularly important for the iPad app.

Also, some long-form flexibility/stretching programs would be a nice addition.

A simpler drag-and-drop experience for the self-made workout function would be nice too.

But if nothing else, landscape mode.

This is all music to my ears! Very exciting news and I’m looking forward to doing whatever I can to help you all roll out the best version of Freeletics possible  Can’t wait for the research studies!

I have a complete bench press setup that I can adjust and incline. I can also add leg exercises to it. It’s a fairly standard piece of equipment. I’d like Freeletics to integrate such equipment and offer exercises that include incline positions or leg workouts.

I also have a full set of dumbbells that I managed to include in the list offered by Freeletics, but I have NEVER seen an exercise suggesting their use. How come?

…Sound good, Ben, thank you for the Info. However, there is another app from Freeletics that need an update: the food! Building muscles mass or losing fat does not go without the other.

super congratulations on your developments! it’s great! What would also be great are explosive training but with weights in the crossfit type room and workouts depending on the sports practiced! (surfing/kitesurfing, boxing, tennis, etc. etc.)
