On equipments for new users

Hello, I purchased the app with no equipments in mind. However, I own rubber bands, skipping rope, treadmill and after a few sessions I liked the variety equipments bring to the table. So, I started wondering about buying a couple more. Since I’m starting, I thought about acquiring a couple dumbbells and a weight plate.
I’d like to hear from you if these would be the best acquisitions for this moment and if so, the appropriated weight for each. Please consider I’m weak, but on the other hand I’d rather not have to buy a lot of these in minor increments.
Loving the app and the feeling of getting the session completed everyday. Thanks in advance.

Hello.

In my opinion, I think you already have a lot of equipment. If you only start with freeletics, already getting your hands on all this equipment is already not bad.

It already creates a lot of varieties. But in the future yes, adding equipment would not be a bad thing.

One thing I’d recommend the most would be a pull up bar. It’s very adverse helps with the Freeletics Spirit by just using your body. But I love to include dumbbells as well so those are great too.

To me, pullup bar is a must, you missing out a lot of movement haven’t selected this.
Besides that you already have a solid variation of equipment. Make use of those and decide later on, if you are really willing to spend on more.

You already have more than enough to get started. If you’re still early in your training, the biggest game-changer is consistency, not gear. You can build real strength with just bodyweight and a regular routine.

That said, if you’re set on adding something, I’d personally recommend dumbbells. They’re beginner-friendly and let you see progress fast, which helps with motivation. Pull-up bars are awesome, but can feel a bit discouraging at first if you’re not ready for them yet.

Stay consistent, and build up as you go.

Thanks to all of you who took the time to reply and help. I’ll be sure to take all into consideration. Just FYI I do have a pull up bar, but it’s not installed yet. However, since you agree that the bar is important to have for strength building, I’ll have it installed asap. Thanks again for your help.
