Journey setting

Hello! I am doing push pull leg strength training workouts on another app(fitbod) using full gym equipment’s.
After that I train with Freeletics for 20 mins and planning to do cardio burn journey.
My question is should I follow the same plan as Freeletics coach gives or should I train different muscle or same muscle based on my training with Fitbod app? Like if I do push workout on Fitbod, Freeletics may ask me to do lower body. Should I stick to the plan?

Good question

The push/pull/legs split is designed to allow specific muscle groups to recover while you train others. So, my answer is: it depends on your fitness level and how intense the Freeletics workout feels to you.

If the exercises in the Cardio Burn journey feel more like cardio and don’t heavily fatigue your muscles, it’s fine to follow both apps regardless of the muscle group. For example, if bodyweight squats feel light and cardio-like, they shouldn’t interfere with your leg recovery.

However, if those 20 minutes do challenge your muscles, it’s better not to combine different strategies from the two apps on the same day. For instance, if bodyweight squats feel like a proper leg workout to you, avoid overloading your legs on a day when they’re supposed to be recovering after leg day.
