Base Streak breaks if workout is completed before midnight but only posted after midnight

___

Description of every single step you made until you encountered this error-what did you do, what happened?

:point_right:t2: Have a base streak by doing assigned coach (mobility) workouts or reaching 17 min of exercise per day. Then, do a workout before midnight, finish everything but only post the workout after midnight. This way, it will be assigned to the day you started the workout but still won’t count towards your base streak. Instead, it’ll reset the base streak even though having checkmarks for every day in a while.

Once, I also finished my coach day but with less than 17 minutes. At the same time, a long walk hasn’t been tracked with my health app, so I added the walk to the prior day, technically reaching more than 17 min on that day but Freeletics wouldn’t count this towards the streak. In fact, it might have not synced at all although I manually synced via Health Connect multiple times.

I think the same holds true if you started the workout before midnight but finished it only after midnight, so it’ll be counted towards the previous day but still not extending the base streak. (I might be wrong with this one though.)

In the end, this has happened multiple times to me during the last weeks, resulting in an annoying reset of my base streak even if I finished before midnight.

EDIT: Or do I need both: finishing my coach day in time AND reaching 17 min of total activity? If so, I think the description is highly unclear and misleading about that as it the checklist doesn’t look like it’s connected through AND but OR conditions. In particular, it reads (in German) “At least 17 min would be IDEAL.” - ideal meaning less would be okay, too.

EDIT 2: As testing shows, fulfilling all assigned coach workouts, even if their duration is shorter than 17 min(!), triggers the condition for a base streak. Yet, the issue with workouts being completed before but logged only after midnight, remains.

In my experience (with a 774 days streak): 17 minutes (rounded up, so 16 minutes and some seconds would also do the trick) are the goal - no matter if done by coach or by extra work. I can’t confirm these AND / OR observation.

It must be logged before midnight in your actual timezone.

Your quotation also says “at least 17 minutes would be ideal”.

Actually, that’s wrong.

Just today, I progressed another base streak day although only having completed a 13 min mobility workout.

I’m also participating in the base streak challenge where the 13 min are enough, too!

So, as far as I can tell, there’s a bug.

For me, it has to be 17 minutes.

Thank you! This doesn’t seem to be the case for you because you logged them manually. Completing AND logging an assigned coach workout or mobility workout, even when their total duration is shorter than 17 min, triggers the condition.

For me, this confirms the base streak bug with completing the workout before midnight but logging it only after midnight - even if it is then assigned to its original day (before midnight).

I’d appreciate confirmation by Freeletics staff.
