Hello, unfortunately I’ve recently sustained a permanent injury and there is a large set of exercises that I shouldn’t perform.
Ideally, I’d go to my physiotherapist and ask him to exclude all the exercises I shouldn’t do, but I saw I had a hard limit.
Could you open this limit so people who sustained permanent injuries could still use the app without worry after seeking help from professionals?
I’m looking for same recommendation .
I have sprained ankle and is hard or impossible now been able to hold the feet on floor.
Will be nice to select what body part we can’t move or use to the app exclude all the exercise that affect them.
The Terms and Conditions (Article 4.1) address health-related requirements. I therefore wouldn’t expect there to ever be an option to train while injured or recovering from surgery. And that makes sense, really: the body needs time to heal. I actually underwent foot surgery myself earlier this year—which completely sidelined me for six weeks—and I’m facing the same procedure on my other foot this autumn. I’m not happy about it, and I’d love to find a way to maintain my muscle mass, so I can certainly relate to how you feel. However, when dealing with an injury, the focus should be on recovery—and in my opinion, the Freeletics Coach isn’t the right tool for that.
I just read article 4.1 , I think I may have not been clear about my intention, so I’ll elaborate a bit
In my case, I do intend to seek medical help. One thing about Freeletics that I like, is that there is a very large and organized selection of exercises to choose from. Going over it with a medical professional, and excluding all the exercises that don’t fit my condition (which is unfortunately permanent), would allow me to continue using the app (at my own risk of course).
Hi, I have the same issue with my feet, I have my left foot which was operated on early this year and now healed but I still sustain pain and my right foot awaiting surgery. I want to be able to exclude anything involving that body part. I thought this option would be a thing. So I could work on upper body but nothing involving, bending my feet. Lucky I didn’t pay for freeletics it came with my bank subscription, when I saw what it does I got excited that it would tailor exercises based on condition
