I’m on Hybrid strength program and I like that the Coach combines gym workouts with bodyweight, but does not mix the two into one workout.
I have one gripe: on weight training workouts, it is not possible to exclude an excercise like it is with bodyweight workouts. For example, I have sore elbow and inflexible shoulers so I cannot perform front squats. I can ask the Coach to exclude a bodypart but it does not help to exclude arms on a leg day, and it would not make much sense to exlude legs on a leg day.
There are other excercises also that hurt in some way, but I could still work the bodypart with different excercises.
