Fat loss journeys

Hi everyone!
I have a question that’s been on my mind for a while… If everyone says that the most important thing for fat loss (besides being in a calorie deficit, of course) is strength training, then why are most fat-loss journeys based on HIIT and cardio?
Isn’t it true that HIIT and cardio can fatigue the nervous system and raise cortisol levels, which actually makes recovery and fat loss harder?
I’m currently on a slight calorie deficit and looking for a good fat-burning journey — any thoughts or recommendations?

IMO HIIT and cardio will have a greater impact for short term fat loss.

Strength training for long term.

I would choose a HIIT or cardio based one and maintining the calorie deficit. When you lost some weight transition to a different one.

At least I did it the way successfully. For me it is really motivation seeing fat melt fast, because I like the way I look with lower fat %. Then I am more motivated for the subsequent strength journeys.

Thanks. My goal is to loose fat, i have some muscle and streangth already, just want to uncover it.

Probably because those journeys are designed to be more accessible for a broad audience, but since you already understand the basics, you could switch to a strength-based or equipment journey. Still, like you said, nutrition is the most important part, and any journey will help with fat loss if nutrition is in check. Choose strength-based ones if you also want to develop shape more.
