How do I change the standard wheight of barbell exercises if I informed the wrong weight in the beginning of the training journey?

I’ve confused myself with pounds vs kilograms and informed the wrong values for my personal best max weights for some exercises. Now, the app is recommending weights that are higher than what I can manage to properly execute the exercises. Of course, I can use lower, but I would like to correct to keep proper track of progression and void the need to keep testing weights frequently. Can someone please inform me, step-by-step, how to adjust/correct?
