It is a known problem as Ben commented above, and there is a separate topic about it now. Try force-closing the Freeletics app and opening it again.
Same problem, closing the app and logging out does not solve :s
Thanks Sophia. I’ve even tried logging out and in and that doesn’t work either. Hopefully an update will help this problem. It seems many are going through the same thing
Hi @tai and @roccolarete
What exactly is the problem? It helps us to understand if you can describe what you are experiencing vs what you expect to experience, and share some screenshots to show your problem.
i’ve done my full session 14 minute and swam on 30 dec, it shown but my swam activity not counted, and i’ve done my freeletics menu and took cycling on 1st Jan 2024,cycling activity not shown and counted
Ok, so your screenshot shows all the activity that you logged within the Freeletics app.
You believe that there is other non-freeletics activity that should be logged What is shown in your Google Fit app? Can you also check the connection with Google Fit (you can disable and reenable the connection).
Hate to bring negativity here but it seems like this feature should have been polished a bit more before pushing this challenge.
I know it’s enticing to have it for January and all.
Users shouldn’t have to be expected to use workarounds for feature to work.
Maybe a lesson for future " new feature challenges"
I don’t think this is still a problem for you, it looks like your app just needed to sync
Hey Dark
Hope you’ve had a good start to the new year
No worries We really don’t aim to release bugs in to the app with feature releases and we are working hard to release a fix for this current syncing problem (activities logged in the app, no progress bar change until closing and reopening). With any luck we can try the fix out in the next Beta release
Hello. My freeletics syncs the activities from Health app, but it’s not counting them as base minutes. I did a run today, but says I have 0/17 minutes
I also have a runing on the 1st of january that didn’t count as base. I should have a 4 days streak by now; but it seems it only counts the freeletics couch workout.
I just log out and logged in again and it worked for my runing today; but didn’t work for my monday run
@Sofia Apparently, if you don’t quit and reopen the app after logging an external activity on the exact same day, your streak will be broken. Not really nice from a user perspective… I hope they’ll fix this. This looks like premature functionality.
Hi,
regarding the fact that some of you have to force quit the Freeletics App in order to sync your external data, our team already worked on the improvement. This fix will be released with next week’s beta and will be available for everyone the week after (from Jan 15th on since it’s gradually deployed by the App stores)
After that update, it will not be needed to force quit. Opening the app Freeletics App will be enough.
Wanted to share my progress so far.
5-day streak today.
Days 1, 5: Freeletics session
Day 2: Went cycling and logged it using Strava
Days 3,4: Went on long walks and logged them by starting an Outdoor Walk on my Apple Watch.
I am on holiday, which allowed me enough free time to remember to manually start walks and to read the tip to quit and re-open the Freeletics app to sync the activities.
Returning home soon, let’s see how it goes during the working weeks. My plan is to commute to the office by bike which should be more than enough to hit the17-min target, as long as I remember to start recording - the most difficult part
@Ben “consecutive days” seems to be potentially problematic given all the syncing issues people are having. For me I worked out on Jan 2 at 11:30 pm which spilled over past midnight. Even though many of the activities were unique, all the base points are reflected on the 3rd not the 2nd, and restarted the “consecutive days.” I use Myzone which syncs to Google Fit which syncs to Health Connect and then to Freelectics. Lots of handshakes in there.
I don’t understand why we are forced to open the app every day and it can’t just sync previous days too once we open Freelerics.
Syncing external activities is pretty nice but still a bit of a mess in my case.
Both Freeletics and Health Connect don’t sync with Garmin…i know there are other apps that can sync Garmin with Google Fit for example but i had some issues, in past, as the activities were counted 2 times
It’s not an issue with Freeletics, i know, but still dreaming about days when something will link Freeletics and Garmin directly
Back to the “Base” challenge it would be really nice to be able to sync previous activities too and make them count for the challenge.
It already works when you do Freeletics and you’re offline…if you close the app while offline and you open it the day after, the workout will still be recorded on the previous day with no issues.
@Ben Today finish my interval, but it didn’t shown, try to do your suggestion,it still the same issue, hope will fix soon and next can automatcally syn with garmin
@adeet90 But your Coach session has been counted in your Base In your screenshot your Coach session is included in your 41 minutes, everything extra that you have logged is listed underneath.
I find it very disappointing that even if i got external activities but forgot to sync during that same day, it does show the activity for that day, the streak is lost.
oh no, I lost my streak too, because yesterday I flew home from another time zone, and when I landed it was already another day, and I hadn’t synched on time
