Hey there,
before every training there is a speed indicator on which speed one should do the exercises.
When there’s “max speed” should i do the exercise really at my maximum speed keeping a good, clean technique or is the maximum speed what the trainer in the video does?
So i need some kind of reference what each speed indicator means- ideally in reference to the videos.
Is the video slow speed, medium speed or max speed?
Thanks a lot for any helping hand in advance.
PS: I’m not talking about running trainings, just normal body weight exercises.
Hello
Slow rhythm: you take the time to breathe with each repetition and you make the movement perfectly
Normal rhythm: simple rhythm, long and continuous effort (in BPM to exaggerate, not beyond 150 I will say).
Maximum speed: at full speed, quite simply.
But no matter what you look like, the movement must be perfect.
Thanks for the quick answer.
So, what is the speed the trainers do in the videos? Slow?
That’s absolutely not a measurement. If this is theirs slowest speed, it could be yours maximum or vice verse. To be honest, I always go the speed I can do the exercise with perfect technique - no matter what the coach expects the interval to be performed with. Technique first
