yesterday I have made my 299th day in my streak. Today I am back to day 1. It appears that some of my training was not logged - about seven minutes (Deep Squat Hold etc.) are missing. I got the hook on the day that (in my understanding) indicates that I got my 17 minutes. However, as of today my streak is broken… Please, how can this be logged retrospectively to correct this .
I would have had day 300 today and I am floored and massively frustrated that this is gone now. I am aware that this is just a number but it kind of is important to me. Can someone please help?
Yes, I did. What is missing are 3 min Deep Squat Hold which I do every morning while brushing teeth. 2 min Wall Sit and 2 min Calf and Quad Stretch. If you check my streak over the past 299 days you will find that these are regular exercises that I do outside planned training sessions as I can do them while commuting and in the office. I have no idea why these were not logged last Thursday (15/05) and only my Dionysus, which I have done at home in the evening was logged. I got the check mark on that date right after finishing Dionysus so that I assumed everything was logged as usual and the 17 minutes fulfilled. However, it turned out to not be the case. If I could somehow log my training retrospectively, I’d be delighted as my aim is a streak of at least 365 days. As you can see my streak thereafter is back to normal… Any help would be greatly appreciated!
So I think it’s important to say that we’re potentially talking about 2 different things here.
A completed Coach session
17 minutes of logged activity in the app (whether from the training app or externally sync’d activities).
The Base measurement is met when you log 17 minutes of activity in to the app. Can you share a screenshot of how much time you logged in the app on that day? If it’s 17 minutes then it’s definitely a bug that we would want to fix.
2 min Calf and Squad stretch (workout defined by me) during office ours
10:04 Dionysus in the evening
Over the day, I trained 17 minutes but only Dionysus seems to be logged and only the 10:04 show up on my record. However, I did press “finish” on the other exercises and I have no idea why this did not work as it has worked the 299 days before (feel free to chek). Ideally, I would love to retrospectively log my missing activity. Screen shot attached.
yes, I yesterday found this option and I thought it would help me. I try to explain again. On Thursday I trained
3 min Deep Squat Hold in the morning
2 min Wall Sit during office ours
2 min Calf and Squad stretch (workout defined by me) during office ours
10:04 Dionysus in the evening
Only the last one was logged in my base. I typically I check the check mark which, to my understanding does indicate that I have hit my base. Since you removed the blue base progress bar, this is what I do. For 299 days this has worked fine but on Thursday, it did not. All I want to do is log the time that I have trained on that day. I am struggling to make this more clear and I hope this helps.
In case anyone’s confused about this: the checkmark in week day bar does not indicate the fulfilling of daily streak. This is just indicated by the checkmark right beside the streak itself.
Thanks for pointing this out. The blue progress bar for base was a lot clearer to me. In any case I learned a few things form all your answers.
As a suggestion, if exercises can be logged retrospectively, the time should be logged as well. If 3 min deep squat hold are logged, duration is not 0 min but 3 min.
Sorry for taking so long to add another 2 cents to this, but there are other things to do in life. I was able to reproduce a not logging event today. While this may not precisely be a full reproduction of the case 19 days ago it shows that this can happen. Note that I had a training session today and my usual 3 min Deep Squat Hold in the morning, these are indeed logged. Here is how I got a not logged training:
selected Deep Squat Hold for 20 s
hit start
swapped to news page during deep squat hold
hear the finishing countdown
locked the screen of the phone and left it in pocket
shut down (restart) phone (in fact, I do this regularly on purpose during lectures, meetings, etc. … or due to battery outage) but today was for testing
after restart 20 s Deep Squat Hold was not logged
This shows that it is possible that an exercise is not logged despite training done and time finished. I am content now that my streak was broken, I’ll get that back. I guess I am still concerned with this issue as I came for help and I got disbelieve and blame - which really should not be the case.
As a constructive finish, I repeat my suggestion: If exercises can be logged retrospectively, allow us to log the time as well if available.
