Hi. When the app suggest 2x20m sprints or lounges, can I just make a 40m sprint when I do it on a treadmill? Or should intake breaks between lounges or sprints? Normally it’s in timed workouts so it’s a bit confusing.
As far as I’m aware, it’s more of a practical thing. Generally, people do this outside, and have to get back to their mats, so they turn at 20m, and do again. I think that’s the main reason it is split.
So you should be fine doing it on a treadmill.
But be aware that you probably will never beat your PB (done on a treadmill) when doing it as supposed with a U-turn.
