Apple fitness app sync

What do you see today in the Coach tab?

Can you share a screenshot below?

:clapclapstatic:

I should perhaps have been more specific, not your Coach session - scroll down to your Base :+1:t2:

:clapclapstatic:

You should see a progress bar showing a streak of 2 days with nothing yet logged for today :+1:t2:

:clapclapstatic:

This is the bottom of the page. There is nowhere on the page that has a progress bar or says “Base”

Ok, that is new :see_no_evil:

Can you try uninstalling and reinstalling for, and then reset the connection to Health Connect for me?

If no success, we’ll need to create a :bug:

:clapclapstatic:

I deleted the app, reinstalled and reconnected to Apple Health.

I didn’t feel like a coach session so I did a run instead. After I was finished, “Base” appeared with a 3-day streak but the progress bar is 0 minutes. Almost fixed I guess!

Ok, so that progress bar should now update when you close the app and reopen it :crossed_fingers:t2:

This is only a workaround - we are working to fix this problem :+1:t2:

:clapclapstatic:

Just an update… the progress bar is gone again today. Just shows my coach session that I moved from yesterday to today. No Base or bar anywhere on the page. Close/reopen app doesn’t make it appear.

Can you share a quick screenshot? The team is looking at this :+1:t2:

@Ben Yesterday and today, the new activities did extend the Base to (now in total) 3 days, including the Coach workout on Wednesday. Yesterday I explicitly killed the app (which has shown me the activities of the day, but didn’t extend the Base), after restart it accounted for the new activity and extended the Base to 2 days. Today, it did that also w/o killing it, so now 3 days.

The activities on Monday (41 min Walking, as shown in the screenshot in the previous post) and Tuesday (~80 min various activities in one block) still didn’t get accounted for. Could it be that the app only accounts for today’s activities, i.e., the ones which didn’t get accounted for previously due to a bug will never get accounted for? Anyway, my expectation is to see Base for 5 days now, but I only see 3 days.

Maybe you should update it to account for past recorded activities as well? They do show up in the app, just don’t get accounted for in Base.

BTW, the version of my app is 23.51.0.

Hi - I am having another problem with the Base progress bar. Yesterday, I did burpee challenge activities and an external activity. My streak progressed to 18 but the progress bar only showed 11/17 min.

Today, I haven’t done any activities yet but my progress bar is shown as “complete” at 17/17 min. Screenshot below.

@Ben Today, I’m back to 1 day Base, although I did a coach training + some more yesterday (which was at ~35 days; January 1st and 2nd was still not accounted for).

Screenshots from yesterday’s training and today’s walk imported from Apple Health are attached.

I think I’ll give up on Base, the functionality seems to be broken beyond repair.

Can you try logging out of the app and back in? Looks strange, I think this might be a new bug-at first glance (I’ve only very quickly looked) we should be showing that you have a Base streak of 36.

If it doesn’t update, I’ll create a bug first thing tomorrow :+1:t2: In the meantime keep doing what you are doing, either the Coach sessions or logging the external sessions in Health, and then opening the app afterwards to sync your Base. Even though it’s not reflected in the app, it does look like we are logging the events correctly (so on our end it does seem like you have a current Base streak of 36).

Just following up on this, looks like something new and not expected so we’re going to look in to it :+1:t2:

Might take a few days, but I’ll update you as soon as we have an idea of what is going on.

@Ben Thanks. I tried logging out and back in, logging out, killing the app, then logging back in, today doing some activity to reach Base (shows now 2 days), doing the same as above today, etc. Yesterday, before reporting the problem and doing everything else described above, I manually checked for app updates (and there indeed was one, so I installed it - didn’t help either).

@shadow3376 Thanks for the patience on this one, and for still continuing to open the app daily to sync your Base. You should have been seeing the correct Base Streak now for a couple of days-keep up the super efforrts!

:clapclapstatic:

@Ben yes, thanks, it indeed restored the Base Streak a few days ago.

BTW, do I really need to open Freeletics App every day to get the Base Streak credited? Or will it sync past days automatically from Apple Health workouts (e.g., from the past week or so)? The documentation was not quite clear on that, at least the wording was in the sense that you really need to open it every day to get the credit (but I didn’t check now, maybe it was updated in the meantime). Thanks.

Hi, I am having an issue where, despite be allowing the sharing in the settings section, freeletics isnt syncing my hike data from apple health. Any idea how to make it work?
Thank you
