BJJ - complementary training journey


I was wondering which one would be the best complementary training journey for BJJ:

I was looking at :

  • Everyday Strength
  • Explosive Strength
  • Hybrid Strength


Hi Sangiovanni,

it depends on whether you have any kind of strength training in your usual BJJ sessions.
Normally combat sport athletes used to do once a week a full body workout with barbell and dumbbells.

I would recommend you the hybrid strength journey. The explosive strength training is very intense.
Keep in mind that you should recover from the strength training before the next BJJ training to avoid injuries.

The everyday strength journey is too easy in my opinion and less effective.
