It’s hard to know what happened here exactly without technical information-was it a problem with the app or your iPad, we probably will never know unless it continues to happen and we can collect this.
But, should this ever happen, typically it will happen when the device shuts down or by accidentally cancelling out of the workout you should always feel able to log the workout manually
