Hey everyone, I am loving the Ulitmate Strength Journey and structure. Especially the customisation and the weight tracking.
I have all three activities turned on: Traditional Strength, HIIT and Running.
The usual structure of the week (5 days) is 4 days of barbell/db/kb strength training and every week it alternates between 1 day of running or 1 day with 2-3 god workouts into 1 session.
I am toward the end of the journey and tried a few combination of the three available activities to see what the Coach would offer. I noticed that when the combo HIIT and Run are activated, the daily session really look super different. I would have HIIT circuit style training with Barbell, bodyweight and equipments with only 15 sec rest between exercises.
That metcon style training really appealed to me!
However, when I click on “traditional strength”, with Run or with HIIT, the workouts are always strength training. As if this activity was overwriting the HIIT activity, if that makes sense.
Has anyone noticed the same thing?
So, is there a way to have a REAL mix of all three? 2 days of strength, 1 run/GOD, 2 days of HIIT with equipments. OR Strength + HIIT within the same session?
