Was working but now not. I’ve done at least 17 minutes each day this month, as a combination of in app workouts and brisk walks synched through Apple Health. Those walks are shown in the app but it says my streak is just one day!?
It was working earlier this week but now not, so consider it broken and of no use
Also agree with a previous comment about having an Apple Watch app. As a new user I find it a real pain to have to use my phone to progress a workout.
Yes I’m facing the same. I’ve been doing extra activities like yoga and jogs on my normal rest days to ensure i get the base. Now it only shows 1 day streak!! This is since the latest update of the Freeletics app.
If you wish us to engage with this then please ensure that it is working at least at a basic use case so we can trust it.
I have Samsung and i use Garmin. I found that i could buy the app. Health Sync (~$3) to connect Garmin to Health Connect. Once this was done anything i did in Garmin like running, tennis, yoga etc got into FL via Google Fit. The only challenge is that it can double up on some activities as i run my Freeletics workouts using my Garmin as i like to capture my heart rate. So this gets recorded twice.
At the moment, I’m not worried about that too much as i can see this feature is currently being worked on. Once the feature is more stable I’ll work out the best combination of app integrations needed to do it properly.
It would be nice if my base streak was correct though. It currently says 1 day since update. And I’ve not missed a day since 1st Jan, despite being busy!
Hey Ben / everyone
What about those of us who have a Huawei phone? I can’t download Google Play Services so Google Fit doesn’t work properly so I can’t connect Google Fit with Health Connect. I can’t sync any training from other apps because it needs Google Play Services which I am not allowed to have in my phone because is Huawei. I’m so upset. What can I do? Or am I condemned not to use these Freeletics features? Please help me!
I understand your frustration, and I can understand you wanting to make the most out features like this.
Freeletics is designed to run on various operating systems, but it does rely on external implementations provided by Google and Apple to gather activity data performed externally.
In the case of Huawei phones, which use an alternative operating system, the absence of Google Play Services can indeed limit certain integrations, such as syncing with Google Fit. Unfortunately, this is beyond our control, as it is a result of the choices made by the device manufacturer
While we do strive to provide a seamless experience for all users, some limitations may exist due to the specific features and services offered by the operating systems.
I’m sorry I don’t have a more positive answer for you, but I hope you can still enjoy the benefits of your Freeletics training Coach.
Hi Ben
Carrying on my reply from the challenge thread.
I have been opening & syncing every day. I reported this to support & have updated the app.
When you look at the log you can see this everyday that I have achieved my base.
It’s a bit frustrating that I wasn’t entered into the draw when I have achieved every base every day & synced the app everyday too.
Fantastic !
I didn’t knew this app and as Android Health Connect is very poorly supported by major sports apps, this is a fantastic (and working fine) solution
Thanks
