Daily Athlete Score Update: Consistency Logic Revamped!
We’re happy to announce the latest update to the Daily Athlete Score Consistency metric, supporting our holistic approach to fitness and lifelong healthy routine.
The Philosophy
Our philosophy emphasizes engaging in a physical activity every day for at least 17 minutes.
It can be your Coach day, any physical activity tracked in the app, light stretching, recovery activities, or a simple 17-minute walk on rest days.
We insist on building an “everyday” mindset to establish lasting workout habits.
Simplified Scoring
The new consistency logic is straightforward:
Hit your Base with Coach workouts, other Freeletics activities, or external workouts to earn consistency points. Your score directly reflects your active days. For example, if you hit your Base 45 out of 90 days, your consistency score will be 50.
Improved Calendar View
The updated calendar view will showcase all the days you’ve completed a Coach workout or engaged in another activity that meets your Base goal. This visual representation helps you “paint the calendar for lifelong fitness.”
Keep in Mind
You should avoid skipping rest days or performing demanding workouts every day. This update aims to provide a more accurate and motivating representation of your fitness journey. By syncing other workouts and engaging in various activities daily with different intensity, you can strive for your best score while maintaining a balanced and sustainable approach to fitness. Remember, if you need a break for any reason or if you are sick, take the time you need. You’ll have time to catch up later when you feel better.
