Same weights from the previous week

Hello :wave:
So last week during the bench press and the barbell curls I couldn’t lift the weights that the coach put for me, so I updated the weights by decreasing from 40kg to 30kg ( bench press ) and for the barbell curls from 25KG to 15KG.
This week I have the same exercises but I noticed that the weights didn’t change. Shouldn’t there be a progressive increase in weights from a week to another one ?

Not necessarily. There will be a few factors that come in to play. Just one example: at different stages of your Journey when training with Weights the Coach may assign lower weights at higher reps or higher weights at lower reps.

Overall though, the training load should be fairly progressive in nature.
