Training whilst Pregnant

I want to reiterate that the type of High Intensity Interval Training offered by Freeletics is probably not suitable for most pregnant woman and as such we do not recommend to continue training with the Freeletics app during this time. What we can do here is offer a voucher code for the time you will miss training during your pregnancy which you can then redeem when you have the all clear from your doctor to start training again. This is important: after pregnancy, you really should not start exercising again until you have consulted a doctor, as the pelvic floor, abdominal muscles and joints first have to recover.

Please also remember that Freeletics is not a specific postnatal programme that can be individually tailored to the different needs of woman after their own pregnancy journey. What we can offer, however, is a special setting that first excludes certain exercises like jumps from the workout so as to not overstrain the pelvic floor.
