We’re super excited to be rolling out a brand-new Training Journey: Ultimate Strength – designed for those who want to build serious strength with maximum personalization.
Here’s what’s new and why you’ll want to jump in and do this Journey:
Build Strength Your Way
Mix modalities like never before. Whether you want to lift weights, focus on bodyweight moves, or blend in some running – the new Coach Settings let you choose how you train. The Coach will craft sessions based on your available equipment and preferences.
Workout Duration – You’re in Control
Short on time? Want to push longer today? Set a time range in Workout Duration Settings and use Adapt to flex the length of your session whenever you need.
Adapt On the Fly – Choose Your Focus
Legs too sore to squat? No problem – switch your Session Focus to upper-body strength. Or, shake things up with a God workout or a run. The new Adapt options gives you more control over your Coach session.
Stuck Mid-Session? No More.
Hit a wall with an exercise? Tap the Coach icon and swap it out for something easier. You’ll never get stuck or feel lost again.
Smarter Feedback = Smarter Training
Now you can rate individual exercises after a session – too hard, too easy, or just right. The Coach uses this data to dial in your next workout perfectly.
Ready to get started?
Jump into Ultimate Strength now via your Coach tab-you’ll be able to find it in the “Gain muscle/Get toned” Training Journeys.
Please note that the full rollout and official communications will happen in the next couple of weeks. This allows us to monitor the launch closely and get early feedback if anything urgent should be brought to our attention. So please do share with us any feedback and let us know if you come across any problems. This is just the beginning
I have tried this new journey out now for a week, and here are my comments so far. Sorry for making it almost like a diary, but might be good to have some background thoughts why adapting for example.

Really sore from the Hyrox Full Course yesterday, and actually changed from ordinary plan to do a workout today, but changed my mind and adapted to a short session instead.
Doing it in my flat, having no pullup bar, and realize I have to change that I don’t have that specific equipment.
I cannot do that in the adaptation, I need to change my overall settings.
It’s a great improvement to be able to add feedback on every single exercise. It makes it far more better for the coach to see which exercises that you need to work on.
One thing I realized during today’s short workout is that ranking how hard the exercises was is very muck depending on todays shape. Like today I was really sore and that affected my performance. Not sure whether that should be to think about when giving feedback to the coach.
Maybe that is something to consider for future upgrades. To have like and overall feeling for the coach take in consideration. For example if my overall feeling was that i felt sore and/or weaker than usual, maybe the feedback of an exercise feeling hard should be considered as not as hard as if the overall feeling was good.

No question after finishing single exercise, 20x Pushups, how hard it was. Only about technique.
One exercise missing when to add the feeling of each exercise during the second session. One band exercise, the third exercise in the session.
Ok, it was not included as I got a question about adapting it afterwards. I think it still should be added to be able to set feeling, then the upcoming question about adapting could be added, or a button to adapt when adding feeling to skip a step. Like a switch, turn on or off adaption.

I read it he instructions now that the adjustment for an exercise could be added as temporarily or not. That’s good, but not something I noticed the first time. Probably should have read the instructions
I still think this could be incorporated in the first screen, where you set how hard the exercise was. Just a switch to adapt for the future or temporarily as per the second window.
It’s a great feature to be able to change the exercise to another one or decrease the numbers of repetitions.
Today I was feeling sore from the Hyrox session Sunday, and from yesterdays session. My body is overall still off since the Hyrox session I would say.
And I don’t want to be more tired for the orienteering this weekend.
That’s why it’s great to decrease exercises I felt that I couldn’t do good enough, where my technique became bad, or where I felt that I better do lees not to get sore.
Wow that sounds really awesome! I’ve been waiting for a journey to incorporate strength and running for so long! So excited and proud of the whole team thanks
I’d love to try it as soon as my wrist is back to normal!
really great work. I directly checked the journey and its options. I cannot wait to do the first training session.
One issue (I think it was already reported by someon else) that I directly noticed in the planned session are intervals that combine two or more exercises with the same equipment but different weights. For example, the coach has planned for me Hammer Curls with 12.5kg, a 30 seconds break, and Renegade Rows with 20kg. As a result, the break would require always changing the weights as I have a home gym with only one pair of dumb bells that I can load with weight plates.
I think the problem is that I specified in the settings that I have the full range of dumb bells which is true because I have a lot of weight plates and my pair of loadable dumb bells. However, the coach assumes that I have each individual pair available, which is not the case.
Great news.
I’d like to try it straight away but don’t like to leave unfinished journey so it will have to wait.
One question. If selected bodyweight and weights, would the coach assign weigh or it would be like any other bodyweight journey? (Meaning we can have weights as an equipment but coach would not assign weight)
I have the same so tweaked my dumbbell settings manually to different weights but single instead of pairs. That seems to have worked , maybe it’s preliminary.
I’m so excited to see a journey that will combine running, bodyweight, and weights! I just started this journey, looking forward to my first session today.
One thing that I noticed is that there is no running in my first week of coach sessions. Hopefully more running will be assigned in the future.
Hi, I don’t understand what changes if in addition to running and weights I add bodyweight since it always makes you do exercises with the equipment. So the question is.. If I use my equipment what changes if in addition to weights and running I select or deselect bodyweight? Thanks.
I don’t know if I fully understand the question so if you think my reply doesn’t answer the question, please give some more detail (screenshots ALWAYS help us to understand any question).
If you select/deselect the Bodyweight modality, then bodyweight exercises are included/excluded in your Ultimate Strength Training Journey. This could include/exclude individual bodyweight exercises from specific intervals or indeed entire sessions.
As an example, with Bodyweight enabled, I might get a strength interval assigned with Pushups. I could also expect to be assigned a conditioning workout (usually a God(s) or part-God(s), or both) if I train enough during the week.
And for example I’m on vacation and I don’t have any equipment, how does the workout change if I select only weights, only bodyweight or select both? Thanks
